This policy covers deliveries of orders placed in our shop and, unless a quote says otherwise, of quoted trade orders. Mushrooms are an agricultural product, and the rules for sending them across borders differ by country, by product form and sometimes by season. We only ship where we can do so lawfully.

Where we ship
The countries we deliver to for each product are the ones offered at checkout. A product may be available to one country and not another: dried product travels more easily than fresh, and some destinations require import permits or certificates for any edible fungi. If your country is not listed, send a quote request; we will tell you whether a compliant shipment is possible.
International orders may require permits, phytosanitary or health certificates, or other documents specific to the destination. The buyer is responsible for import clearance unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Processing and dispatch
In-stock online orders are packed and dispatched on business days after payment is confirmed. Your dispatch email gives the carrier and tracking number. Quoted orders ship on the date agreed in the quote, after the documents the destination requires are ready. Public holidays in the origin country and peak harvest weeks can add a day or two; we tell you if they affect your order.
Shipping costs and free-shipping offers
Shipping is calculated at checkout from the delivery address, the weight of the order and the service you choose, and is shown before you pay. When a free-shipping promotion is running, the cart shows the threshold and how far your order is from it. Free shipping applies to the delivery service named in the offer and does not cover import duties or taxes.
Customs, duties and import documents
International parcels may be inspected and charged import duty, VAT/GST or brokerage fees by the destination country. Unless your order or quote states otherwise, online orders and quoted orders ship on DAP terms (Incoterms® 2020, “Delivered at Place”): we pay the carriage to your address, and you pay any import duties, taxes and clearance fees. Quoted orders can be arranged DDP (“Delivered Duty Paid”) where the carrier and the destination allow it; the quote then includes those charges.
Some countries require documents for mushrooms, such as a phytosanitary certificate for fresh produce, a health certificate, or advance notice of food imports. For quoted orders we confirm the list with you before shipping and issue what we can. Parcels refused or destroyed by customs because of missing buyer-side permits cannot be refunded, which is why we ask about your destination first.
Buyers are responsible for confirming that a product may lawfully be imported into and used in their jurisdiction.
Fresh and frozen product
Fresh mushrooms and truffles are available in their season and spoil within days. They ship chilled by express service only, to destinations that accept fresh fungi, and on dispatch days chosen so that they do not sit in a depot over a weekend. Someone needs to be available to receive them. Fresh product that cannot be delivered because the address was wrong or nobody accepted it cannot be resent or refunded.
Tracking and delivery
Track your parcel from the link in the dispatch email or from your order in My account. Carriers estimate delivery dates; they are not guaranteed. Please check the delivery address at checkout carefully. If you need to change it after ordering, contact us before dispatch at info@mycorova.com.
Delays, damage and lost parcels
- Damaged on arrival: photograph the parcel and the product before discarding anything, and send the photos with your order number within 7 days of delivery. We replace or refund damaged product, including its share of shipping.
- Not arrived: if tracking has not moved for several business days, or shows delivered but you do not have it, contact us. We open a claim with the carrier and send a replacement or refund once the carrier confirms the loss.
- Held by customs: we help with the paperwork we issued. Duties and storage charges at the destination are the buyer’s responsibility on DAP terms.
See the Returns & Refunds policy for how refunds are paid.
Trade and freight shipments
Pallet and freight shipments, insurance, packing specification and the Incoterm are set in the quote and the pro-forma invoice. Where the quote and this policy differ, the quote applies.
Questions
How long does delivery take?
The checkout shows the services available to your address with the carrier’s estimate. International parcels usually take longer than domestic ones and can be held at customs.
Will I pay customs charges?
Possibly. On our default DAP terms, import duties, taxes and clearance fees are charged to the recipient by the carrier or customs. Ask for DDP in a quote if you prefer one all-in price.
Do you ship fresh mushrooms internationally?
Only to destinations that allow fresh fungi imports, by express, during the season. Most international orders are dried product.
