FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about ordering, prices per kg, wholesale quotes, shipping and storage.

Ordering & prices

How are your prices calculated?

Every online price is per kilogram. Each mushroom is sold in one or more forms (fresh, dried, powder, extract and so on), and each form has its own price. Forms marked “Price on request” depend on grade, quantity and destination, so we quote them individually.

Is there a minimum order?

Online orders start at 1 kg per form. For more than 25 kg of one product, or for regular deliveries, request a wholesale quote and we reply with a volume price.

How do I get a wholesale quote?

Use the quote form. Tell us the mushroom, form, quantity, destination and how often you need it. We reply in writing with a price per kg, lead time and the documents your country requires.

Products & quality

What does “form” mean on a product page?

Form is how the mushroom is supplied: fresh, frozen, dried, powder, extract, canned, preserved, or in retail or food-service packs. Choose the form on the product page to see its price or to request a quote for it.

How do you check quality?

Each lot is identified to species, graded by size and condition, and checked for moisture and foreign matter before packing. Powders and extracts come with a certificate of analysis covering active compounds, heavy metals and microbiology.

Do you make health claims about functional mushrooms?

No. Reishi, chaga, cordyceps, turkey tail and lion’s mane are sold as food and ingredient materials. Product pages describe the compounds that have been studied and say what is not known; they do not claim a health effect.

Can laboratories buy research material?

Yes. Authenticated material, such as Lanmaoa asiatica and wild Ophiocordyceps sinensis, is supplied to qualified institutions by quotation, with collection data and identification records. Tell us your institution and intended use in the quote form.

How should dried mushrooms be stored?

Sealed, dry, cool and away from light. Most dried mushrooms keep 12 to 24 months that way. Rehydrate and cook them before eating; soak wood ear in the fridge and use it the same day.

Shipping & import

Do you ship internationally?

Online checkout ships to the United States. Other countries order through a quote, because import rules for fungi depend on the destination and the form: dried mushrooms can go where fresh ones cannot. We check before we quote.

How are fresh mushrooms shipped?

Fresh mushrooms travel chilled by express courier, packed in ventilated trays. Truffles and matsutake ship within 48 hours of grading. Straw mushrooms are an exception: they are damaged by cold and are supplied canned for most destinations.

Who handles import documents?

We supply the phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin and lab reports your destination asks for. The buyer is responsible for confirming the product may be imported and for any duties.
