Lanmaoa asiatica is a red-capped bolete from the pine forests of Yunnan. Mycologists G. Wu and Zhu L. Yang described it as a new species in 2015, and DNA work later matched it to the "little people" mushroom of the northern Philippines.
We supply it in three forms. Fresh mushrooms ship during the rainy-season harvest to specialty importers. Dried caps and slices are available all year. Authenticated research material, with collection data and identification records, goes only to qualified institutions.
Who buys it
Specialty Asian food importers in California, New York and Washington, and university and commercial laboratories studying the species. Every research order is reviewed before we quote.
